Mama and hay

On the 23rd of October, Mama and I went on a search for the most serene hay field. After finding it and walking to it, I then found a perfectly made hay bail to be photographed. It was quite the moment getting Mama up on the hay bail. Once she got up there, I found a character within her. I found a powerful southern lady who can hold her ground. She sacrifices many things and deals with more than she should, and I still a woman who is rare, and I am very Thankful to call her one of my best friends and Mama. Here are a few of my favorites made that beautiful afternoon:

(NOTE: I do not think this hat, made in Italy, would have been photographed in a hay field.)
