Even when I'm in South Carolina, my good friend Lisa and I are almost two hours away. I'm fortunate our lives' schedules worked where I could photograph her family's holiday session. Years ago, I photographed Lisa and Michael for their first session when they were dating in the same park we photographed today. Fast forward to today, they have their little girl Maevis about to have her first Christmas being photographed with her parents. Wonderful how life goes! Here are just a few of my favorites. Enjoy!
It's really neat when you can photograph a wedding where you've known the bride since elementary school. Our husbands share the same name too. I loved the quaint location of their wedding at Wintergreen Woods, and we had some great weather too! Enjoy these images!
Thank you for the wonderful honor of photographing your special day of marriage, Mr. & Mrs. Crosby! Congratulations again!
My friend, Kayla, got a gift certificate for her mother-in-law for a family portrait session back in April! Our life's schedules finally had a time where we could make it happen along with it not being so hot in SC! They are so easy-going, and at first I thought our location I wanted wouldn't happen because we actually had cows in the pasture. Right before they arrived, we had that taken care of, and we rocked it out. We had some laughs, and I even got to hear a few great stories from the great grandmother, Mamie. Here are some of my favorite images from the shoot:
Thank you, Kayla, for the honor of photographing such a fun family!
I just got home from photographing Lynn & Kevin Crosby's wedding, and I could not help but to finally reveal some of my favorites from her bridal portraits. We made the trek to Yemassee, SC, to the Old Sheldon Church Ruins. I always heard of this beautiful place, and I finally had the chance to photograph there on a humid July day. Those who were there rocked it out with us and were great assistants! Enjoy:
Lynn, your wedding was absolutely beautiful. I wish you and Kevin great happiness for the many seasons your marriage will have!
Charleston holds a special place in my heart always, as it is where I met my husband, where he proposed, and where we got married. With Jeff and Suzanne, the historical city holds many memories for them as well. On a hot and humid afternoon, we risked photographing on Labor Day. It was pouring down rain right up until our 5pm scheduled session, and I think Jeff's optimism helped! The rain stopped for our session, and we rocked it out with sweat and laughter. They are the couple a lot of photographers hope for, and I've been fortunate they are just one of many for me. You can see their love through the images, and I wish them all the best, as they truly tie the knot next year! Here are just some of my favorites:
Thank you again for giving me the honor to photograph in such a lovely city. It was wonderful having an excuse to visit again!!
