The Shealy Family

I met Rae when I was going to the Art Institute of Charleston. Now, she's married and a new mom to a beautiful 3 month old named Peyton Elizabeth. We worried about rain having us to reschedule, but it all worked out! The rocking chair Peyton is sitting in was her dad's when he was little, which I loved this cute touch! Here are just some of my favorites!

Rae, thank you for the honor to photograph your family! It was a joy!

Always,

The Ponder Family

I have known Brian since before I moved to Connecticut. The military world seems to be small when you realize it, and because of the Navy, I was connected and had the great opportunity to photograph his family. Here are some of my favorites we all created!

What an honor! Thank y'all so much!

Always,
Des'ola

Katie on a Southern Afternoon

Katie was my very first friend I had when I went to the Art Institute of Charleston. We had not seen each other since 2008, and we had been planning this shoot for over a year believe it or not! Last year when I was visiting SC, we had a session planned then we got rained out. We got to reschedule, and she is my first photo session in SC for this year! It was a great honor photographing her, and this shoot was so fun! The forecast called for thunderstorms, but we never saw a drop of rain that day of the session. Here are a few of my favorites of the session, and it was difficult narrowing them down!

It was great seeing you again, Katie! Your beautiful confidence exudes in these images!

Always,
Des'ola

Cheryl at Avery Point

I've known Cheryl for a couple years now, and it has been great to know another woman who could wear stilts and still seem to be "normal" height like myself! It was awesome finally being able to have her in front of my camera. Here are some of my favorites from our shoot!

Cheryl, I love how I feel like I can hear you laughing from your headshot!

Always,
Des'ola
